This journal computes their Acceptance/Rejection rates according to the following equations:
Rejection Rate (RR) = (RA / SA)*100
Acceptance Rate (AR) = (AA / SA)*100
RA: Rejected Articles
SA: Submitted Articles
AA: Accepted Articles
It is important to remark that RA include:
- Rejected articles in the Editorial Screening (see Editorial Process).
- Rejected articles in peer-review.
- Articles that were accepted subject to change/resubmission but were dropped out by their authors.
RR = (31/46)*100 = 85%
AR = (7/46) = 15%
This journal computes two evaluation metrics:
Mean Time to First Response (MTFR): this metric considers all articles that passed the Editorial Screening. It represents the average number of days required to receive its first decision after peer-review.
Mean Time to Acceptance Decision (MTAD): this metric considers all articles that were finally accepted after peer-review. It represents the average number of days required to accept an article after peer-review, starting from submission date.
MTFR = 79 days
MTAD = 106 days
